ABOUT GAM
ABOUT US
Global Aid Missions (GAM) was established to address the health and social challenges faced by people living with albinism. In Zimbabwe and many parts of Africa, individuals with albinism often face limited access to specialized healthcare, as well as stigma and discrimination within communities. Albinism is a genetic condition that increases the risk of skin damage, skin cancer, and visual impairments due to the lack of melanin. In response, GAM works to improve the quality of life for people with albinism through healthcare services, awareness programs, and advocacy initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion, protection, and equal opportunities.
We are driven by empathy and a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. We prioritize the dignity, health, and well-being of every individual we serve.
We uphold the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all our programs, partnerships, and use of resources.
We believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities and respect regardless of differences. We actively promote awareness, acceptance, and social inclusion of people living with albinism.
