Global Aid Missions is a non-profit organization in the United States that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is registered as a Trust in Zimbabwe. This legal structure enables the organization to operate as a non-profit entity with tax-exempt status in the United States and as a local legal organization in Zimbabwe. This structure allows us to focus on our mission and maximize the impact of our programs while also delivering tax benefits to contributors. We collaborate closely with legal and financial advisors to ensure that we adhere to best practices and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Pre Cancer Prevention Training for Nurses & Doctors — Harare
Calendar of Events
Pre‑Cancer Prevention Training
Pre‑Cancer Prevention Training (18–21 May 2026): certified, hands‑on workshop for 75 nurses & doctors on dermatoscope screening, cryotherapy for pre‑cancerous lesions, and sun‑safety counselling for persons with albinism (PWA); trainees to support services in six Harare council clinics.
International Albinism Awareness Month:
- Launch of pre‑cancer treatment services in Harare
- Provision of cryotherapy and pre‑cancer treatments to 200 beneficiaries
- Distribution of sunscreen lotions to all treated patients.
SRH and GBV for women and girls with albinism (1)
- Project launch & baseline assessment: Identify and register women and girls with albinism; collect baseline SRH & GBV data
- Awareness & sensitization campaigns: Reduce stigma, educate on SRH and GBV prevention
- SRH service delivery (Phase 1): Family planning counseling, STI/HIV screening, eye care, distribution of sun protection kits
- Psychosocial support & GBV response: Peer support groups, counseling for survivors of violence/discrimination

- Capacity building for service providers: Train healthcare workers, social workers, and local leaders on inclusive SRH & GBV response
- GBV prevention workshops: Community dialogues, early warning mechanisms, referral pathways
- Economic empowerment & leadership sessions: Vocational skills, small business coaching, formation of Women with Albinism Advisory Group
- SRH follow-up & psychosocial support (Phase 2): Ensure continued health checkups, counseling, and GBV referrals
- Endline assessment & project close-out: Measure impact, document lessons, handover sustainability plan
Cancer Awareness Month:
- Raise awareness about cancer, promote health, and provide spiritual support
- Partner with local organizations and stakeholders to amplify impact
- Albinism Children’s Christmas Party:
- Celebrate Christmas, promote joy, and provide support for children with albinism
- Share the Gospel, provide resources, and build relationships with families
