International Albinism Awareness Day 2023

Global Aid Missions is excited to announce that we will be celebrating International Albinism
Awareness Day (IAAD) on the 13th of June 2023. This years theme is #InclusionIsStrength, it builds
on from last years theme of ensuring the inclusion of the voices of persons with albinism in all sectors of
life, highlighting the importance of inclusion and acceptance of people of all abilities and color.

Date: 24 June 2023
Time: 10 am – 4 pm
Location: Harare Gardens

Activities: IAAD Celebrations, Entertainment, Distribution of Sunscreen, Hats etc and Lunch.
IAAD is an important day that raises awareness of the plight of people with Albinism (PWA). Our goal is
to bring attention to the discrimination, stigmatization, and violence that PWA encounter. Through this
day, we aim to promote inclusion and advocate for the rights of people with Albinism.
We invite you to partner with us by contributing to the day. Your support will help us to spread awareness
and educate the public about Albinism. Here are some ways you can get involved:

1. Be an Angel Sponsor: Sponsor the event by donating funds to the event.
2. Donate Goods in Kind: Donate sunscreen lotion, protective clothing, and refreshments.
